Segal, Miriam: Made in Australia

Segal, Miriam: Made in Australia

by Miriam Segal

When Olga died, Mim’s eight year old daughter Leonie said to her. “What is the point of living if no-one remembers you?”

This memoir tells the story of Mim Segal’s ancestors who arrived in Australia from England in the first half of the nineteenth century. Through stories passed to her from her parents and grandma, together with her acute observations of her own experiences as a daughter, wife and mother, Mim, now approaching ninety, shows how life varies for each generation.

Now Olga, Mim’s mother-in-law, along with other family members will not be forgotten.
