Description
Dora Gersten was born in Tarnow, Poland, in July 1899, she married Yehuda Zvi Lichter in 1925 and they had two daughters, Basha and Baltsha. The marriage did not last and Dora left Poland for France with her two young daughters in 1933, which is where this story begins. Her diary was completed in 1967, and she died in 1973.
